Don’t you just love Christmas? Everything seems so magical especially with little ones, which is why were were thrilled to collaborate on this adorable Frosty Pastel Peppermint Holiday Kids Party with our good friends at La Petite Fete. This sweet little party was so fun for our little girls, they loved all the special touches in our frosty confection dreamland. Not to mention, we are so excited that 100 Layer Cake-let chose to feature our little party on their site!
We started planning the party with La Petite Fete’s holiday party box in mind. If you are not familiar with La Petite Fete’s party boxes you have to check them out! They offer the most unique and stylish party boxes that you can order right on their website. We couldn’t wait to shop for all of the mint, emerald, pink, red, silver and gold holiday decorations. We knew we wanted to use a flocked tree and garland to give the party a dreamy wonderland look. We found so many gorgeous ornaments but we had to go to several places in order to find everything we were looking for. Sometimes it’s hard to find everything you want, when that happens…there is always spray paint! Lisa wanted to add some height to the table so she took two trees that were originally gold and sprayed them mint green. They were such a great addition to the table and really helped frame our amazing cake.
Isn’t this cake by Bake and Tell perfection!? This chocolate cake was layered with peppermint buttercream topped with white chocolate, mini candy canes, peppermint candies and meringue trees. It was not only so pretty but tasted delicious!
This tree was so much fun to decorate. The great thing about a flocked tree is you can either go simple or do a ton of layering. We wanted to utilize all the colors we chose for the party which were the mint, emerald, pink, red, silver and gold with pops of peppermint swirls. We layered with ribbon, snow spirals, snowflakes, ornaments and candy cane swirls. In this case the more we added the more it felt like a winter wonderland.
Our girls all loved sitting down to this frosty confection dreamland. Who could resist stacked macaron trees, peppermint chocolate cake, meringue lollipops, cupcakes, cookies and of course hot cocoa with our homemade snowflake marshmallows. Can we talk about these adorable gold star plates with matching mint and gold reindeer napkins? They looked so cute on top of the red sprinkle plate and pink charger. We loved the mint wooden silverware on top of the faux fur tablecloth, it added such a cozy feel as the girls giggled and drank their hot cocoa.
These DIY jumbo balloon ornaments which are included in La Petite Fete’s party box really made the party fun! The girls loved swinging them around as they danced to holiday music.

Thank you to Lisa and Somer from La Petite Fete for asking us to collaborate on this party and to Hannah from Bake and Tell for the amazing desserts. We had so much fun with all the details.
